Unknown suspect in US mass shooting: At least 11 people hurt on South Carolina beach, many emergency personnel race to the scene

Reports of more people arriving at local hospitals in private automobiles led officials to confirm that there may be more victims involved.

According to local authorities, a shooting occurred late Sunday night in Little River, a seaside town in South Carolina, leaving at least 11 people hospitalized.

A mostly residential area close to the Intracoastal Waterway, which also has a few boating shops, is where the incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. Information about the injured people’s conditions has not yet been made public by the Horry County Police Department.

The police department shared on social media that “investigators were receiving reports of more people arriving at the hospital in private vehicles.”

Authorities have not made any comments regarding what might have caused the violence, and there is currently no word on suspects.

Numerous police cars and ambulances were seen swarming the area late into the night in the footage from the scene, which showed a massive emergency reaction.

About twenty miles northeast of Myrtle Beach is Little River. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation is still ongoing.
