Tarn Taran: One suspected Pakistani rogue drone was apprehended on the Tarn Taran border by the watchful Border Security Force (BSF) troops working with Punjab Police. Around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, the Punjab Police and the force’s Intelligence Wing confiscated one (1) “DJI Mavic 3 classic drone.” At around 3:30 pm, BSF personnel and Punjab Police apprehended a single DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone at a site next to Khemkaran in the district of Tarn Taran, based on information provided by the BSF intelligence branch.
The BSF says it is assumed that electronic countermeasures at the border caused the drone to collapse. In three different incidences near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab earlier on Wednesday, May 14, the BSF retrieved a weapon, a drone, and a packet of suspected heroin. Reliable intelligence inputs from the BSF intelligence branch served as the foundation for the recovery.
Police and members of the Border Security Force (BSF) were urged to remain vigilant after a drone was discovered in a field in the Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan on Thursday, which is located near the India-Pakistan border. At approximately 9:45 a.m., villagers in the Anupgarh region noticed the drone and promptly notified the local authorities. Ishwar Jangid, the house officer for Anupgarh Station, stated that he notified the BSF and arrived to the location with a police squad.
