“Pahalgam Terror Attack: Action Planned Against Overstaying Pakistani Nationals in Maharashtra, Says Fadnavis”

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated on Wednesday that the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon track down the masterminds behind the Pahalgam terror attack and ensure they are brought to justice.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed the media regarding the Pahalgam terror attack, emphasizing that strict action will be taken against Pakistani nationals overstaying in the state. CM Fadnavis confirmed that the central government has decided to suspend visa services for Pakistani nationals in India. He stated that authorities are compiling a list of these individuals, and police have been directed to ensure no Pakistani national remains in Maharashtra for more than 48 hours. Those found overstaying will face legal action.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that the Government of India has decided to revoke the visas of Pakistani citizens, with a list of those residing in Maharashtra currently being compiled. He emphasized that no Pakistani citizen should stay in the state for more than 48 hours, and authorities have been instructed to monitor their movements closely. Those who overstay will face legal consequences. CM Fadnavis further stated, “We have no sympathy for Pakistani actors or players.” Regarding India’s response to Pakistan, Fadnavis assured that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, known for delivering strong reactions, would give a firm response to Pakistan, as he has done in the past. Fadnavis also criticized the UBT for not attending the all-party meeting, stressing that national unity should take precedence over political differences, especially in times of crisis.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed his gratitude to the Supreme Court for reprimanding Rahul Gandhi, who had insulted freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. Fadnavis criticized the Congress MP for repeatedly disrespecting revolutionaries and using language that has offended the nation. He added, “I hope that Rahul Gandhi, who often carries the Constitution with him, will now finally abide by the orders of the Supreme Court.”
