The Indian Ministry of Defence emphasized that the strikes were executed with restraint, focusing solely on terrorist infrastructure to avoid civilian casualties and to uphold India’s commitment to counterterrorism efforts.

In response to the heinous Pahalgam terrorist attack that resulted in the deaths of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen, the Ministry of Defence emphasized India’s commitment to holding the perpetrators accountable. Operation Sindoor utilized precision strike capabilities from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, incorporating loitering munitions to effectively target nine terrorist camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
